Burges Salmon AGM

Virtual | Creative 5 MIN READ

Video and motion graphics can be powerful media to get across a message, and in this case, show solidarity with your community.

Burges Salmon, a private law firm based in the UK, approached PYTCH to help them produce a virtual AGM. This was something they had never done before, and were looking for support and creativity to get all the pertinent messages across to their employees.

Due to the sensitivity of the event and importance of transmitting all details articulately, a pre-recorded event was chosen. It was originally due to take place in the Virtual Venue studios, however an internal policy change meant that at the last minute, all recordings had to be done at the presenters’ homes.

PYTCH stepped in, providing our Zytch kit home broadcast solution to all 11 presenters, and gave production advice on how to film remotely. We also travelled to the Burges Salmon offices with a film crew to shoot a package of interviews, vox pops, and interesting footage. We then composed this into a 90-minute video production including motion graphics and subtitle transcriptions.

The final product was broadcast as a virtual event on the Intelligo platform. The client said:

“I wanted to send you all an email to say that a number of messages have come my way already to say what a slick, professional event we put on this evening. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication! We really appreciate your commitment right up until the end. I think people genuinely enjoyed it which is lovely to hear.”
