The Brief:
Happy Hour productions came to PYTCH looking for a space suitable to shoot six driving plate scenes for an upcoming film. They needed a space that was versatile and also big enough not only to fit the two 4x4 vehicles used for the shoot but also to accommodate the production team from Happy Hour and the talent rider requests. The client wanted to go over technical items such as lighting, number of angles needed for the stock footage and how the cameras looked with the LED volume beforehand.

The Solution:
With our very own Virtual Venue, we were able to show the Happy Hour team the potential of the studio and its capabilities for the type of finish they wanted to achieve. With a large roller door, perfect for moving the 4x4 vehicles and open floor space for getting them into the correct position for the shoot along with a first floor green room The Virtual Venue ticked all the boxes from the get go. Our creative producer had used the studio for similar shoots before and reassured the client that the space will be more than satisfactory for their needs and had multiple engagements regarding the lighting requirements and driving plate angles.

The Result:
Working together and being on site to answer any questions relating to the LED wall, Lighting and Venue needs meant the shoot, which was initially scheduled for 10 hours, was all wrapped up closer to the 9 hour mark. Meaning it was a stress free work environment while still managing to get high quality scene shot.
