Kevin Hart - What Now? Tour

Kevin's team wanted to ensure a 'rock and roll' production for the biggest comedy tour of all time.

Kevin Hart - What Now? Tour

The Brief:

Kevin Hart has never been one to shy away from a challenge, with comedy, films, TV, and music among his repertoire. In 2016, he embarked on one of his most ambitious projects yet; to perform the world’s biggest comedy tour. His production team reached out to PYTCH to deliver full production for the UK Leg of the tour, with the brief being to bring rock and roll energy to the solo performance.

The Solution:

PYTCH provided a full production package for the tour including video walls, projectors, cameras, lighting, audio, and special effects.

Our team travelled from venue to venue around the UK installing, operating, and removing the production with speed and precision. The venues included:

O2 Arena, London

Wembley Arena, London (now OVO Arena)

Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham (now Utilita Arena)

3 Arena, Dublin

Manchester Arena, Manchester (now AO Arena)

We also sent a team of staff to some of the European dates to oversee the production and ensure it was delivered in line with the expected standards, including the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome.

In addition to production services, PYTCH provided a small camera team to document Kevin’s travels around Europe, producing a package of footage to be used on social media and in behind-the-scenes content for fans.

The Result:

The biggest comedy tour ‘of all time’, Kevin completed 168 shows across 18 months. PYTCH were proud to partner on the UK and European leg.

You can stream ‘What Now’ on Netflix.
