Christmas always seems to find a way to creep up on you - before you wake up one morning and it's Christmas everywhere you go! One of our favourite things about the season - that really makes it feel like a special time of year - are the lights!
Light trails, winter installations and Christmas light switch-ons are the sort of events that bring families, friends & communities together in a way that feels so special at this time of year and we love being a part of those experiences.
Our very first one of the year took place last night in Discover Clifton village in our very own Bristol City, and it was brilliant to see so many of you there for the switch on! The illuminations on the trees and buildings looked amazing and we loved seeing the tree come to life.
A simple yet effective installation can be seen above, using a combination of uplighters and gobo projection; thanks to our Chauvet moving head lights, the facade of the building is completely illuminated and transformed with brilliant effect.
It's amazing to know we were able to do this using completely renewable energy too thanks to SolCell Renewables. We charged the power banks up using solar energy through the day, and were able to run the entire light switch on from this alone! Amazing!
