The Brief:
The largest data conference in the world, SQLBits is the only UK conference of its kind dedicated to the SQL community. In 2022 it took place over 6 halls at London’s iconic ExCeL exhibition and conference centre, and PYTCH were tasked with providing full event production services for the 5-day conference, exhibition, and party!
The Solution:
PYTCH designed the event from the ground-up, starting with floorplans to fit in 15 conference rooms, a 3,000 square metre exhibition space, and a party area with flow for thousands of guests to travel seamlessly across the site. Sound management was a big concern for this client, so we ensured we designed the space to minimise sound bleed between stages, as hard walls were not in the game plan. We also installed a site-wide noise monitoring network which was monitored from a central location to ensure overall sound levels remained manageable.
