Alfresco Disco 'Rave of the Decade'

*When Alfresco Disco needed a location to host the 'Rave of the Decade' PYTCH stepped up and offered our event space - Hangar 1.

*The Brief:

Alfresco Disco are a Bristol institution. Hosting unique one-off daytime raves and parties in iconic locations such as underground tunnels, play parks, and secret industrial facilities, they have developed a reputation for being some of the best experiences around for ravers of all ages.

But when you promise the Rave of the Decade, you need to step everything up a notch further, and partner with the best event production company in Bristol to pull it off.

The Solution:

PYTCH offered the most exclusive venue in Bristol to host the 90's themed event - our own facility on Skyline Park, BS4. With two main stages of music, multiple bars, food vendors, and entertainment acts across the site, we pulled out all the stops and turned Skyline Park into a 12-hour long festival site.

The main stage was in our Live Events warehouse, with capacity for 2000 ravers, a bar, a dance truck(!) and even a special secret VIP area. Stage 2 took place in our Virtual Production studio - The Virtual Venue. Our goods yard became the breakout space with food and bars inside our shipping containers. And a second secret VIP area was located inside our private jet PYTCHAir.

As well as the venue we provided LED screens, moving head lighting, smoke, and haze, and concert-grade dance sound systems across the site. Decor was a combined effort between the PYTCH and Alfresco Disco teams, with our expert riggers providing overhead truss and motors.

The Result:

The ultimate 90s rave, PYTCH helped Alfresco Disco raise the bar and deliver their biggest event to date with over 2000 ravers descending upon an industrial estate in Bristol. We worked closely with the police and authorities, resulting in a safe and secure event with zero serious incidents.
