IBM: Z System Launch

An amazing and unique conference concept, sure to keep delegates on their toes!

Z System Launch – Concept

The Brief:
IBM is one of the world’s largest organisations. It helped put a person on the moon in the 1960’s, and it is still helping people do amazing things today. But it’s internal sales events needed a little bit of a refresh to reflect the modern thinking embodied in its products. So, they came to PYTCH for some out-of-the-box creative thinking for their Madrid Z System Launch Conference. IBM wanted to ensure their sales teams were kept engaged (or at the very least awake!) and receptive to the new ideas being presented.

The Solution:
PYTCH conceptualised a fully themed event around the concept of hackers attempting to steal data. Our team wrote a background story, researched characters, and created immersive ‘escape room’ style live experiences to be delivered throughout the event. The payoff? The ‘criminals’ would never be able to steal the data due to the Z System’s unique approach to data security!

Of course the entire concept was underpinned by a unique production design, with design cues based on a cross between ‘Tron’, ‘Ready Player One’ and ‘The Matrix’.

The Result:
An amazing and unique conference concept, sure to keep delegates on their toes!
This project would’ve been delivered on site by PYTCH but unfortunately was cancelled due to the global pandemic.
