TRIC CHRISTMAS SPECTACLE

TRIC events, including the TRIC Awards and associated functions like the Winter Lunch, are significant gatherings in the UK broadcasting industry. They are known for their festive atmosphere, featuring a mix of fun, food, and famous faces. These events are typically held at prestigious venues, such as The Londoner in Leicester Square for the TRIC Christmas Lunch, and the Grosvenor House for the TRIC Awards. These choices of venue reflect the importance of selecting the right location for event success, a factor that is crucial in creating the desired ambiance and accommodating the specific needs of the event, such as guest capacity and technical requirements.

The chosen venue for the TRIC Winter Lunch was nothing short of spectacular – a location embodying the grandeur and sophistication befitting an event of this caliber. PYTCH used a mix of The Londoners inhouse equipment (which is a mix of Chauvet, Yamaha and Avolites equipment) and our own event equipment such as control gear. This allowed us to preprogramme the show enabling a quick and easy rig in the early hours of the morning.

PYTCH also designed all the show graphics for the Christmas lunch as well as edited a few videos for their small awards section. PYTCH used a mix of After effects, powerpoint and Cinema 4D to build the show graphcis with the results being the centre of attention for the all the famous guests in the room (these included the likes of Roman Kemp, Eamonn Holmes, Angela Rippon, Dave Berry and Ainsley Harriott!)

All in all, TRIC Christmas lunch was an absolute hit with the celebrities. We can't wait till next year!
