The Pyramid Stage at PI Live 2023 was a unique challenge being both situated in the large main hall of Old Billingsgate and in the middle of the exhibition area. Understanding how to mitigate sound spill whilst reaching your entire available audience is an important consideration to make designing stages such as this one.

PYTCH Project Manager, Joseph Hall put together several clever techniques when planning this stage, ensuring that sound quality was heard using Martin Audio DD6 speakers and a Powersoft X4 amp to create a delayed audio system (Visit our hire site for more info on these), and offering Silent Disco headsets for guests at peripheral viewing platform locations to still join the show from outside "The Pyramid".
