The Brief

PYTCH were invited to offer our resources for the Clifton Christmas Lights switch-on this year here in Bristol. Throughout the year we're often busy all across the country with large conference and live-event productions, so it was a huge pleasure for us to be a part of this local event back in our own city. The event required outdoor rated power, staging, lighting and audio support, and the facade of the Lowes & Co offices at the end of the highstreet was to be illuminated with colour uplighters and gobo beams.

The Solution

PYTCH provided various lighting across the area, with Chauvet WELLFit uplighters illuminating the various trees. The facade of the Lawes & Co building on the street was illuminated in colour with Cameo LED Par Tri 12's, and hese were accompanied by 4 OPTI GoboPro+ lights for animated LED gobo effects to blend with the buildings uplights.
We also provided staging, audio and power for the band and countdown presentation for the evening using Senheiser SKM300 wireless microphones, a Powersoft X4 Amplifier and an Allen & Heath SQ-5 Mixer. The stage was also lit up using a set of Astera Titan Tubes. Power for the stage was provided by our SolCell Max System.

The Outcome

The evening was an incredibly fun and exciting switch-on event, with live bands and many attendees enjoying the experience. The lights on the trees looked brilliant in the evening and the SolCell Max performed perfectly to provide power for the stage for the evening.
