What is the origin of your passion for events?

The world of events was something I wasn't too aware of at a young age but I always had a dream of becoming a camera operator one day. By chance I started to go to some sporting events and began to notice camera operators around the venue, by this age I was playing around with filming random videos and the whole idea of cameras, so when I noticed these people I knew it was a world I wanted to be involded in.

How this led to a career in events?

As the years went on I began to realise there was more than just camera operating when it came to live events. So when I attended any type of event I would film clips and put them together as a mini highlights reel. All this grew my knowledge and skills aswell as opening my eyes to the variety of things that were possible with a camera. It was only when I left school and started to think more into my career that I relaised that these videos were all focused on lone thing, live events so this was the obvious next step.

What is your education & past work background?

After I finished my GCSE's at school I moved onto study a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Media Production at college. This allowed my to work on a huge range of skills such as filming, photography, animation, script writing and much more. Having come out of college with a D* D* D*, I started to pick up some industry work experience and in the Decemeber of that year I joined PYTCH as a Content Creator Appretice. Over the next 12-15 months I learnt an massive amount about cameras, events and even got stuck in with the other departments like such as video. Once I had completed my appreticeship I came out with a Distinction.

What is your favourite project you've worked on?

When it comes to favourite project it's a hard decision becuase I learn so much from each project I work on. If I had to pick one it would probably be the RX-7 Car shoot I shot in the studio. It was shot as a Top Gear style video which being a Top Gear Lover it was great to film!

What is your biggest passion for your current role?

Any time I'm filming or taking photos is a time I'm happy. Anything from corprate work to more creative style videos.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

In my spare time I have self converted a van into a campervan that I can travel around in and my passion for filming extends to outside of work becuase I have my own Tik Tok channel focused around my van and the adventures I have in it.
